Ovarian cystic lesions are one of the most common pathologic disorders in gynecology and a reason for surgery. The purpose study was to determine histopathologic characteristics benign ovarian their correlation age, type, laterality, locularity, size lesions. This is retrospective carried out on 100 cases from archive Imam Kadhimian medical city educational laboratories Baghdad city, patients, age group that underwent cystectomy 20-40 years old. vast majority cysts were non-neoplastic (67%) while neoplastic occupy 33% all cysts. cyst corpus luteum (49 (49%) 100), subsequently follicular (11 (11%) 100) they commonly encountered (20 40) matured teratoma (17 (17%) serous cystadenoma (12 (12%) (41-60) years.
